VAN Pipeline & Formulation Library

25 formulations that work and have no brand on them. They are carried under neutral codes so that the first thing a client sees is the technology, not a competing name.

The five stages

Where a formulation sits on this ladder is stated plainly. A code at field-trial stage is not sold as if it were finished.

The library

Organised by code family. The letter tells you the nutrient story, the number tells you the analysis, and the colour runs all the way through to the pack.

N-22S
N · Nitrogen efficiency
Nitro Sulfur — N 22 · elemental S 18Nitrogen carried with elemental sulfur rather than sulfate. Elemental sulfur has to be oxidised by soil bacteria before a crop can take it up, so it releases over weeks instead of all at once, and the oxidation itself is acidifying — which is the opposite of what most nitrogen sources do to a calcareous alkaline soil. Sulfur is the nutrient Pakistani soils run short of most often after nitrogen, and the least often applied deliberately.
On VAN's own register: N 22% · S 18%, sulfur in elemental form. Granular and powder. Packs 25 kg and 50 kg. No trademark filed and no PSQCA registration yet.

N-26L
N · Nitrogen efficiency
Liquid nitrogen 26% with zinc and boron · two gradesLiquid nitrogen built for pivot injection and foliar spray, carrying its nitrogen in three forms at once rather than one, with zinc and boron already in solution.
Two grades: N-26L (total N 26% · Zn 0.6% · B 0.02%) and N-24L (total N 24% · B 1%). Packs 20 L, 200 L and 1000 L.

VAN Liquid CAN — N 17 · Ca 7.2Liquid calcium ammonium nitrate: nitrogen delivered with calcium rather than beside it, for fertigated horticulture.
Liquid.

N-15C
N · Nitrogen efficiency
Calcium nitrate — nitrate N + high calcium · N 15.5 · Ca 18.4 (CaO 25.7)Nitrate nitrogen carried with a high calcium load, chloride-free: the fertilizer class high-value horticulture buys imported, for firmness, storage life and skin quality rather than for bulk nitrogen. VAN formulates to that class rather than to a commodity CAN. Recorded in both solid and liquid form. Distinct from N-17L, which is a liquid at a much lower calcium loading — different product, different job.
Solid and liquid, both at the same analysis. On VAN's own register: N 15.5% · Ca 18.4% (≡ CaO 25.7%) — the register records this as "N:15.5%, Cal:18.4%", confirmed as elemental Ca; the CaO equivalent is that figure at the standard 1.399 CaO/Ca factor, shown because the two conventions are declared differently in different markets. Granular, powder and crystalline. Packs 50 kg and 1000 kg. Analysis report and specification sheet available on request.

P-44L
P · Phosphorus
Liquid foliar phosphorus 44%High-analysis foliar phosphorus with a Pakistan micronutrient pack — bypasses soil fixation entirely by going through the leaf.
Liquid. Drone / ULV grade to be decided.

NP-540
P · Phosphorus
NP 5-40 — dual-release phosphate · N 5 · P 40A phosphate that releases on two timescales from one placement: an immediately available fraction for the seedling root, and a slower fraction that is still releasing when the crop's demand peaks. Aimed at the programme where a single basal dose currently has to cover both windows.
On VAN's own register: N 5% · P 40%. Granular, powder and crystalline. Packs 50 kg and 1000 kg. Analysis report and specification sheet available on request.
VALIDATED — SPEC LOCKEDDetails on request
NP-838S
P · Phosphorus
NP 8-38 + sulfur — slow-release, fixation-resistant · N 8 · P 38A slow-release NP built against calcium phosphate fixation rather than around it: sulfur acidifies the granule's immediate soil environment, and VAN's calcium-resistant agents are formulated to keep soil calcium off the phosphate for longer. Built for the calcareous alkaline ground that fixes a large share of applied P.
On VAN's own register: N 8% · P 38%, with sulfur as part of the formulation — the sulfur loading is not published. Granular, powder and crystalline. Packs 50 kg and 1000 kg. Analysis report and specification sheet available on request.

UP-44
P · Phosphorus
Urea phosphate · 17-44-0 and 12-44-0Nitrogen and phosphorus in one fully soluble salt, acidic in solution — a fertigation phosphorus that does not raise the pH of alkaline irrigation water.
Two grades: 17-44-0 · 12-44-0. Form to be confirmed.

KN-44
K · Potash
Potassium nitrate · three gradesChloride-free potassium with nitrate nitrogen — the standard choice for high-value horticulture and salt-sensitive crops.
Three grades: 13-0-44 · 12-0-42 · 12-0-45. Form to be confirmed.
VALIDATED — SPEC LOCKEDDetails on request
K-45L
K · Potash
High-purity liquid foliar potash · K₂O 45%Chloride-free potassium at 45% in a low-salt-index, neutral-pH liquid, with added phosphorus and boron. Built for foliar and drone application, with an adjuvant to help the leaf take up the droplet rather than shed it.
Liquid. Foliar · Drone / ULV. Pack sizes to be confirmed.

PK-82
PK · P+K synergy
High P+K reproductive complexPhosphorus and potash together for the window that sets yield and quality — grain fill, boll development, tuber bulking, fruit set.
One grade: P 42 · K 40 — 82 nutrient units, which is where the code comes from. Produced as powder, crystalline soluble and liquid concentrate.

NPK-128M
PK · P+K synergy
NPK 12-12-18 + micronutrientsBalanced mid-to-late-stage NPK with a micronutrient pack, weighted to potash for the stage where Pakistani programmes usually run short.
Powder and granular.
AVAILABLE FOR LICENSINGDetails on request
NPK-19
PK · P+K synergy
NPK 19-19-19 · three gradesThe fully soluble balanced grade, built three ways: a foliar grade, a fertigation grade, and a drone / ULV grade for low-volume spraying. Same analysis, three different physical specifications.
Foliar · Fertigation · Drone ULV. Differences between the three to be confirmed.
VALIDATED — SPEC LOCKEDDetails on request
NPK-10
PK · P+K synergy
NPK 10-10-10, iron-coated · the corrective gradeThe grade for a programme that has already slipped — phosphorus or potash under-applied, or the dose missed and the crop now behind. The low analysis is the point: 10-10-10 places a corrective dose without loading nitrogen on top of it, and the low unit cost is what decides whether a second application happens at all. Broadcast or side-dressed, so it can go on to a standing crop. VAN runs this grade commercially already.
Granular and powder. The granule carries an iron coating that supplies iron and holds the granule together through handling and storage. Plain and micronutrient-fortified versions. Pack sizes to be confirmed.

V-Crop series
PK · P+K synergy
Crop-specific NPK grades · four in developmentA grade built around one crop’s uptake curve instead of a general-purpose ratio — the shape of the analysis follows what that crop actually pulls out of the ground, and when.
Four grades in bench development: V-Potato 10-5-35 with micronutrients, aimed at the mid-life / grand growth window · V-Citrus 16-6-28 + MgO 1 + B 1 · V-Rice 12-10-25 with micronutrients · V-Wheat 21-7-19 with zinc 1.5%. Packs 10 kg, 25 kg, 50 kg and 1000 kg. Powder and granular, for fertigation and broadcasting; foliar and pivot grades available on the same analyses. No dose rate is published — it varies by crop, region and application method, and is set per programme.

V-Stage series
PK · P+K synergy
Stage-specific grades for field crops and orchards · three in trialThe same idea applied to the growth stage rather than the crop: one analysis for building the plant, one for setting the crop, one for filling it.
Three grades in trial: Vegetative Stage 14-21-16 · Flowering Booster 8-34-14 · Fruiting Booster 12-8-32. Packs 10 kg, 25 kg, 50 kg and 1000 kg. Powder and granular, for fertigation and broadcasting; foliar and pivot grades available on the same analyses. No dose rate is published — it varies by crop, region and application method, and is set per programme.

The two NP grades, and what actually separates them

Both are nitrogen-and-phosphorus grades and both are aimed at the same problem — that a large share of the phosphorus applied to Pakistani soil is fixed as calcium phosphate before the crop reaches it. They attack it from opposite ends, which is why they are two grades and not one.

NP 5-40 — dual release · N 5 · P 40

Solves a timing problem. The phosphate is carried in two fractions with different release behaviour: one available immediately, for the seedling root that has to find phosphorus in its first weeks; one releasing slowly afterwards, still supplying when demand peaks. A conventional basal phosphate delivers its whole load into the window where fixation is fastest and the crop is smallest — this splits that load across the season from a single placement.

Low nitrogen by design. It is a phosphorus product with enough nitrogen to work with, not an NP blend balanced for both.

NP 8-38 + sulfur — fixation-resistant · N 8 · P 38

Solves a chemistry problem. Rather than timing the phosphate around fixation, this grade is formulated to resist the reaction itself. Sulfur acidifies the granule's immediate soil environment, where alkalinity drives the precipitation; alongside it, VAN's calcium-resistant agents are formulated to hold soil calcium off the phosphate so it stays plant-available for longer. The release is slow throughout rather than split in two.

The sulfur is a functioning part of the formulation, not a filler — and it is a nutrient the crop needs in its own right.

Both descriptions are of mechanism, not measured outcome. No trial figure is published against either grade, because none has been signed off — the same rule that applies to every other code in this library. The analyses shown (N 5 · P 40 and N 8 · P 38) are recorded on VAN's own register; the analysis report and specification sheet are available on request. The sulfur loading on the 8-38 grade is deliberately not published. Both grades are made in granular, powder and crystalline form, in 50 kg and 1000 kg packs.
