Three ways to work with VAN.

Most of what VAN manufactures leaves the plant under somebody else's brand. That is not a sideline — it is the business. Below are the three routes into it, ordered by how finished the product already is when you arrive.

23VAN brands in the catalogue — 22 open for own-brand manufacturing
25formulations in the library, carried under neutral codes
28crop nutrition programmes published from VAN's own agronomy
7manufacturing technology platforms behind every formulation

Counts are taken from VAN's own portfolio records, July 2026. Performance figures appear on this site only where a verified trial number exists — none is shown here because none has been signed off yet.

The offer ladder

Start wherever your timeline allows. A finished brand can be on your truck in weeks; a formulation designed from scratch to your brief takes a development cycle.

01
Ready today

VAN Brands

Twenty-three products that have been through registration, through the plant at scale, and through several seasons in the field. You can carry them as they are, or have the same specification produced under your own name — same line, same QC, your label.

Most of the catalogue is open. Vital Urea is reserved and is available for distribution only.

02
Validated, unbranded

VAN Pipeline & Formulation Library

Formulations that are proven but deliberately have no brand on them. They sit in the library under neutral codes — PK-82, P-44L, BIO-H50F — waiting for a name. License one non-exclusively, or take it exclusively against a committed volume.

03
Built to your brief

Co-development

Nothing in the catalogue fits, so we build it. You bring the market, the crop, the price point and the constraint; VAN brings the chemistry, the plant, the trials and the registration. This is where most of the company's output comes from, and it is the one route whose outputs never appear anywhere public.

How the commercial side works

Three rules that apply across all three rungs. They exist so that partners who arrive later cannot quietly displace partners who arrived first.

Non-exclusive by default

A library formulation can run under several client brands at once. That is what keeps it affordable, and it is stated up front rather than discovered later.

Exclusivity is earned by volume

Exclusive rights to a formulation are available against a committed volume threshold, not as an opening request. Thresholds are set per formulation.

No surprises

If a formulation's status is about to change — a graduation to a VAN brand, a new exclusive holder — every affected partner is told before anything becomes public.

The graduation rule

If VAN's own distributor channel picks a library formulation up, VAN registers and brands it in its own name and it moves to rung one. That is the only way a code becomes a VAN brand. It never happens to something built from a client's brief.

Who already works this way

VAN does not publish client names, but already manufactures for more than a dozen national and multinational clients. What we can say is the shape of that customer base, and any partner under NDA can be given specifics in a meeting.

Multinational crop-protection companies National agri-input companies Sugar mills and corporate farms Regional distributors

Client names, formulations built to client briefs, and any data belonging to a client are never shown on this site and never used to sell to anyone else. See the firewall statement below.

What is coming next

Two things are in development that will widen how a partner can work with VAN. Neither is on the market yet, and neither is described here in more detail than is true today.

A second brand line for national distribution

A separate branded range is being developed with a national distribution partner, aimed at the retail channel rather than the institutional one. Trademarks are filed and the range is not yet in the market.

A widening formulation library

The library grows as formulations clear development. New codes are added to the library page as they reach a stage worth publishing, and not before.

Your formulations are yours. Anything developed to a client brief is never displayed, never offered to another client, and never becomes a VAN brand. VAN's own brands come out of VAN's own library — never out of somebody else's brief. That line is the reason competitors can sit on the same production schedule without either of them losing anything.

Start a conversation

Tell us the crop, the market and the constraint you are trying to solve. If something in the catalogue or the library already answers it, we will say so rather than start a development project. A dossier request moves through four steps — enquiry, a mutual NDA, the dossier itself, then sample and trial — set out in full on the next page.
